- Instructions for care - Always use the appropriate cookware. Always place the pan in the centre of the unit you are cooking on. Do not place anything on the control panel. Do not use the hob as a working surface or cutting board. Do not store heavy items above the hob. Do not let cookware slide across the hob. Before cleaning, ensure appliance is cooled down and never use abrasive, corrosive detergents, bleaching agents or acids on the enamelled, varnished or stainless-steel sections. On those sections, use warm soapy water or a non-caustic detergent.
